The Primary Protection for home security is called Perimeter Protection.  This form of security protects all accessible windows and doors from intrusion by opening.  This protection is accomplished with the use of magnetic alarm contacts.  Nite Vision Security uses hidden  contacts that cannot be detected by visual inspection, in most cases.

The second level of home protection is Interior Protection.  This protection is achieved within the inside of the home being protected by the use of motion detectors.  Interior protection is primarily used as a back up (fail-safe) for Perimeter Protection. The motion detectors are automatically deactivated when you are home, so that you may move freely about the house while the perimeter is protected.  Your system comes with a warning sign for your front yard and  warning stickers to deter criminals.

Another added feature in home protection is fire protection with the installation of smoke and heat detectors.  This is done as a 24 hour zone, which means that the fire security is always working – whether or not the alarm is set!

Another feature we offer is the inclusion of panic buttons for police, fire and medical emergencies.  We also offer the Personal Emergency Reporting Console and Wrist Pendant for the elderly or disabled person living alone - this system could save their life.

Using state-of-the-art communications technology, an alarm signal in your home triggers a telephone, radio or cellular telephone call from the alarm panel to the central monitoring station. The alarm panel sends data that identifies the type of alarm and where it occurred. Then the Central Station swings into action.  The telephone call is answered at the central station.  Your unique account number immediately identifies your home and all the key information about your system.  All the information appears on a computer screen in front of a professionally trained central station operator.

Each alarm signal includes special identifying codes that tell the operator what type of alarm has been sent. The operator will know, for example, whether it was the fire alarm or bugler alarm.  If a door or window was opened, the operator can tell if it is the front, back or side. A panic alarm or medical emergency-the information is spelled out.

Each alarm also includes an instruction for a pre-planned series of responses by the operator.  For some alarms, the operator will dial your telephone number, to see if you are home and check on the problem.  Certain types of alarms, such as the "hold-up" or "duress" alarm, may be handled differently, however.  The alarm "action" instructions may tell the operator to notify the police immediately.

The alarm also instructs the operator who to "notify" about an alarm.  The notification list (people who should be called) and their telephone numbers, appears automatically on the operator's screen, with single keystrokes, the operator can quickly call the people on the list, according to the instructions you provide.

All equipment installed by Nite Vision Security is Underwriters Laboratory listed and tested before and after installation.
